Eucalpytus oil is great. Ifyou have an oil burner, just use that in his room before he goes down for naps. Or pop a couple of drops on a wipe or flannel near his cot. Raise the head end of his cot/basinette a little to help him breathe easier.

when Ella had a blocked nose the chemist recommended saline drops for her nose.

saline drops are great for clearing the nose and I found the baby vicks worked really well and as kebakat said put a book or something like that under his mattress so he can breathe easier while sleeping.

Saline drops are good or you can just boil some water, put a pinch of salt in and wait till it cools. Jack never liked this so only tried it a few times as I felt really mean!

And you can get nose-clearing thingies... some of them are battery powered and pricey (I have no idea how those ones work!) but for a few bucks you can get a 'bulb' one shaped like a tiny balloon - you squeeze some air out of it, pop it in the nose and let it inflate again.  It's gentle, a little gross, but helpful if baby's nose is beyond all other help!

the saline drops can make it easier to feed as well, if bubs' blocked nose causes problems with that.
