When I do finally get pregnant with my 3rd child I have to be under an OB this time. I have had PET twice and I developed GD in the last 2 weeks of the pregnancy with Josh. I will be bit of a high risk hence the OB needed. My MW has already told me that no MW will take me on and when taking to my gyne (who was my OB for both pregnancies when I got sick) told me that I would have to be under the care of an OB as agan no MW would touch me.

Now the questions I can't go privately as we don't have any OB's that do private pracitice in Palmy. So when I go to the hospital can I tell them who I want to see?? I only want to see my gyne, and he has told me he is happy for me to be under his care as he knows my history.

Yes I'm sure you can, if they say anything different just explain that he knows your history and you wouldn't feel comfortable with anyone else. The health system firmly believes that you have to be completely comfortable with anyone who is treating you.

when you get pregnant and have it confirmed by your gp he/she will refer you to a lcm and you can chose whom that is, your gp will prolly be aware your to be under a ob this time so make sure its stated that the ob is your choice to be the ob and if its one you regularly see they will prolly allow you to have that one, and liek marlborough theres prolly only a few there at the hospital so prolly wont be a issue of not being avaliable

What will you do if you are living in Waiouru though?

Come back down to Palmy to see him, I don't think Wanganui would take me on.

I do hope to get pregnant when we are away from Waiouru thou and he is back at Linton.
