Can anyone make any recommendations on good ones and ones to steer clear of? I've been warned off one of the lots of hugs places by a friend who use to work there. And I need to find one that will take a cloth bubba as I REFUSE to put Daniel in sposies

And what are the waiting lists like?

We are thinking of putting Daniel in daycare for a couple of mornings/afternoons a week early next year so I can devote more time to my business and just to have a break and for the social aspect for Daniel. Plus who knows with us ttc in September I may be preggers too. So I thought I may as well do some research now in case the waiting lists are rediculous!

TIA

Ukidz is great, but don't think they take cloth naps, however you could always ring around and ask, am sure if you explained the idea of modern cloth to some of them and the idea of just sticking them in a wetbag out in the laundry then you'd get a few more on board?

Ukidz' waiting list can be a bit long - but i think that's for over-2 section, under-2 looks quite empty at the mo cos all the kids have turned 2 and moved on.

dunno too much about the others, apparently first steps is good.

Stay clear of Baabaas place. My nephew goes there and it's not terribly wonderful. And i know that only a few years back Kinderheim had scathing reviews from the ERO borad.. i mean obviously they'll have to have improved from that as they're still open now.. but still.

I'm going to ask my MIL if she has reviewed any in Palmy recently, she's a senior review officer for ERO. But I don't want to ask her just yet. She won't stop ringing if I ask lol

Don't go to Puddleducks. I know that First Stepz doesn't take cloth but they do supply the sposies.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

we go to Russel street rascals - now ABC - not so keen on the AMC setion as they seem to make some dumb decision, BUT the people there are fabulous. Maire is head (i think) of under 2s and she is lovely. Jake love Tess and still talks about her. And there is a new MAN there as well. haven;t chatted to him too much, but seems lovely. I really love it there and jake and taine both love it. b they talk about "going to daycare" a lot. couldn't recommend it enough.

BUT they don't do the free 20 hours which may be amn issue for you later. I pay about $150 a fortnight for both boys 24 hours (a week)
