(i lied about it being a 'QUICK' question)....
Just wondering what the deal is with women that get pregnant on the pill, i know a few on here have , but what im curious about is did you still get bleeding (i mean before you knew you were preggy ) cos i read that if you are on the pill and you bleed when you usually would at what time would be your period , then thats it -your not pregnant. But i was talking to a lady today that found out she was pregnant at 18weeks and was on the pill and was still bleeding ? so ,is it possible to still have some bleeding and still be pregnant? just curious

I have heard so.
I got pregnant while on the minipill because I thought it was normal to not have your period. Turns out that is only for 1/3 of women. Had I known that I may have been suspicious a bit earlier. ah well |

argh buggery bollocks :-P , and thats what my main sign is that im not preggers (which im not at the moment.....i think haha)

I was on the combined pill for years. And when I went to take the sugar pills, 3 days into it I still wasn't bleeding and I thought that was totally weird for me (which is was) so I did a test and it was positive.
I've heard of stories where women still get their "periods" while pregnant though. |

I knew someone that didn't find out with the first pg until she went into labour and with the 2nd until she was 5 months. No preggy belly, no kicks (that she took as being kicks, maybe she thought she had gas?  ) all while on the pill. So it can happen!

I didn't. Ha. Went to renew my pill prescription and she made me do a preggo test when I mentioned I was pee-ing every 5 minutes. |

ahhhhh....that makes sense.....
well Kebekat, i dont usually get mine till about 3 days sometimes more into the sugar pills ,so that wouldnt work for me. think what we need is for our pee to turn a different colour "oh look purple pee....im pregnant" or "hmmm just yellow, nope not up the duff this week"

when i was on the pill i barely touched the sugar pill and i got my period

haha no , although how the hell would i know :-P ,none of what i thought were signs i could rely on for NOT being pregnant are ahundred percent :-P
I wasnt on the pill with Caitlyn , i was on the "pray to God were lucky and dont concieve this time" method , ....there must have been an earthquake in Guam that night :-P I did get a bit worried,what with milk still coming out of my breasts, (dont pretend none of you occasionally squeeze yours...) and sometimes feeling nauseous, but i can put that down to other things (well the nausea, the milk just means im weird) My instinct, which is usually right, tells me im not. I think .

Maya is a pill baby. I had surgery on my arm and happened to mention to the district nurse who was changing my dressing that AF was late and I thought it was the drugs I'd been given in hospital and she was like "oh no dear, have you taken a test?" | turns out the pill expires it when you buy a years supply and live overseas. i don't know what prompted me to test. i think i was only 8 weeks when i found out with Jake. Taine i tested cause I had this MASSIVE bleed (soaked a chair and everything) and thought I had internal bleeding of some kind (cancer I beloieved), and teseted cause some dumb person said maybe you are pregnant and I needed to show them how wrong they were...hmmm |
