Ditto! We want to refer to "him" or "her" not "the baby" or *shudder* "it". We also have no patience!

hmmmm I really dont know. On the one hand I am sooooo curious, but I htink I like the idea of having a surprise more. I htink we will probably not find out...but there is definately the temptation to ask though....

In theory I would like to not find out and have the surprise at the end. But I think in reality I will get to my scan and HAVE to ask! We didn't want to know, but were told accidentally by an over zealous sonographer!! I was initially disappointed to know (we're having a wee boy, and I really wanted a girl.... then!) but now I'm stoked we know, and it's so lovely being able to talk about our little boy by name, and to get all the blue things ready. ------------- Joshua Hadynn - Born 3 May 2006 |

We found out with Maya, nd there is noooo way I will be able to restrain myself this time round either. I so don't do surprises, and with Maya it was really nice to give her a name and talk to her etc. Will be beating the baby to get it to move if it isn't co-operatve at the scan  -------------  Maya Grace (28/02/03)

we definately wanted to find out with jack. i'm not the most patient person in the world so waiting all those months would've been hell!!
were also had to re-paint our whole house, so wanted to know what colour to do his room etc it's so awesome to talk to your bubs and to others about them using their name rather than 'it' or 'bub', it's more personal. having said that though, this one is going to be a surprise. that way, we have one of each

I wanted to find out both times, Nathaniel wasn't sure with Josiah but had up until the scan date to decide... and he decided he wanted to know! We didn't tell anyone what we were having ("It's a baby!") until about 2 weeks before he was born when I couldn't cope anymore! ------------- Becca, mum of 2 girls & 3 boys |
