Miss Ayja's birthday party is coming up this weekend and i know that one of her little friends used to have a fairly decent allergy to dairy products that caused a rash and excema or something along those lines.   Anyway, from talking to her mum it seems that mostly she has outgrown it and can have small amounts etc.

However, was just wanting to know from all the mummies out there who deal with this every day. What kinds of things can ihave at Ayja's party that would be dairy-free snacks so that the little girl can have them without her mum worrying about her having had too much.

Specific names and brands and where you can get them would be great . I'm stuck for ideas

Fruit kebabs are good! You can make them exciting by putting marshmallows on as well. The signature range marshmallows we have from foodtown say they are gluten and dairy free.
Popcorn is a favourite here too.

What about hummus and rice wafers? Jelly in little cups. Bake some dairy free cupcakes?

In one of the latest Littles magazine (this month or last) they had these really cute watermelon wands. Basically you just freeze watermelon slices and then use a star cutter shape to cut out stars. You then put a wooden stick (like ice block stick) at the bottom. They were really cute I thought. (and healthy)

Hmmm, trying to remember back...

Olivani spread is dairy free, I used it to make fairy bread, and in the icing for dairy free cupcakes (Sterryn posted a good recipe not long ago).

Chicken Crimpy flavoured Shapes crackers

Oreo bickies

Watch potato chips as most have dairy in the flavouring, even the ready salted ones.

Cocktail sausages
