arrrgghhhhh im so stressed....what is it with the agents ringing at 4pm and saying we have someone wanting to look at your place...can we come through in 10mins.
so im either stressing keeping my house clean and tidy 100% of the time...or im stressing running around with 10mins to get things tidy
and of course today is the day that ive done baking with rhiannon, drawing and painting...loads of washing...and she has run riot...its amazing what i can do in 10mins but man it stressed me...and i had to leave dishes stacked on the bench (which i really hate to do)
and then the damned agent left all the house lights on and they never took their shoes off (which we have a shoes off policy when viewing our house as we feels it tells the ppl that we care about our house)....
arrgghhh im jsut venting....we are getting 4 different couples a week through and NO offers...we just need one decent offer and we would sell as quick as that....
please someone buy our house
Thanks for letting me vent

I would just respond with a polite, no sorry. "How about in an hours time."

i have thought about that...but its a potential buyer that i could be turning away....so i will just have to make sure im not cooking dinner at 4pm...and that the house is tidy.

Our real estate agent did that to us once and I said to them that they must give at least an hour's notice at all times. I didn't think unreasonable. Theres no reason usually that people can't wait until the following day

You can definately say you need an hours notice before they bring anyone through, at any time.
I hope you get an offer really soon Kazzle

People don't take offence if you put them off a bit. There were a couple of times where we said to our agent, um how about in 1/2 hour? And he was like, sure thing!
Chuck everything in a basket (or 10!) and shove them in the car
