Don't feel bad nzpiper - sposies have their place! I used them on Leo overnight for a few weeks until I got his nighttime nappy sorted out. It's better than having to deal with a wet bed and a cranky baby!

Yep we use 'sposies at night at the moment while I save for more bamboozles.
A dry night is a dry night - that's the main thing.

Any idea what you might get for his night time nappy nzpiper? Are you looking at going with fitteds? I'm keen to get Sophie another fitted for night (my DB hasn't even arrived yet and I'm planning more!!) and seeing as I wont be able to get another DB I'm wondering what to get. A lot of people seem to really like bamboozles... I might look into them.

another wet night as no sposie . I think I will go fitted. I just bought some wool off TM so when that arrives I will knit some longies and see how we go. Mum comes down next week so I am hoping the wool arrives then and she might knit them. she can knit AND watch TV whereas I knit concentrating on the wool with my tongue sticking out

LOL!!! I understand completely! I've just started knitting, and it takes ALL my concentration (and then I still make mistakes!!)

If I had a smaller baby I'd try a Baby Beehind Bamboo OSFA as an alternative to a DB fitted. They're supposed to be really trim and absorbent and they sell a bamboo booster which would be good for boosting overnight. You can buy them from www.babybehind.co.nz
