Stupid cow, not only did she tell her husband she wanted to be with someone else and she cheated.
She lied and didn't get the money.
But then why oh why would you go an a program like that. Serves herself right.

I love that show, what a laugh.
The thing is the questions were asked before she even went on the show so why would you go through with it if you knew those questions were coming.

You'd have to be stupid eh? That or completely heartless to put your husband through that on TV.

Yumi you read my mind, I was soo gonna post something similar regarding this show.
Very thoughtless of her to put her husband through that on TV ...let alone lie at the end and lose out on all that money. Can pretty much guarantee that marriage didn't last!
I was thinking ...maybe she wanted out of the marriage from the start, this was her way of putting it out there & secretly she was hoping to make a load of cash but it backfired lol

I watched this one a few weeks ago when it was broadcast on the net because of the fuss caused when it aired in the States. I couldn't believe she carried on, and I can't believe her husband LET her carry on. It would completely devastate me. Sooooooo stupid.

So what did she lie about? Is that why she lost the money? Funny that she'd own up to cheating and the rest, but lie about something else. I forgot it was on, would've watched it for sure!

what i dont understand is how she answered that final question after all that she had just owned up to...
do you think you are a good person??
yes!!!
how ??????after you just admitted to cheating on your husband and that you wanna be with someone else, plus all the bad stuff from her past.
i agree with steph abut her just wanting to leave her husband anyway and thought why not do it this way on t.v and win some cash while im breaking his heart.

The crazy thing is she admitted to cheating on him and said she'd rather be married to her ex and then got done on the 'Do you think you're a good person?' question. She answered yes (although I don't know how you can think you're a good person after all she'd done IMO) and that answer was false.
So no money, probably no husband and her mum looked pretty upset as well. But what was with the dad? He looked like he was enjoying it all and egging her on?!

Here is a youtube link for anyone who didn't see it last night. It shows the last few questions of the night where she broke her husbands heart on tv...

i forgot it was on! saw it last week and thought it was a silly program, but the advert for this week looked interesting
so, for those of us still on dial-up....what's the update?
it would be funny if the show gave the money she would've won, to the (hopefully) ex-hubby

She admitted her and her husband are "going through our stuff" and that they are not currently living under the same roof. And that they "need to do this to figure out what HE wants"...
And she went on to say how this has made her a stronger person...all the while looking like she's about to cry again cause she knows she's a SKANK!!

How absurd ...the husband is even more pathetic than I thought - he is willing to work things out with her DESPITE her publicly humiliating him on television. I got the impression that she definitely wore the pants in that relationship.
I hate the word SKANK but to be honest, I don't think that word is even strong enough to describe her.

I've never watched it, seen the ads though-how exactly does it work??

We were also talking about this whilst it was on, and wondered a couple of things.
Were here and hubby having problems, did he already know and they see this as a way to cash in on their rock marriage - think of the cash they could have won, and then all the interviews and stories it would have generated. Yes she had been polygraphed for a range of questions, but maybe she was hoping that the nitty gritty ones were so few that she would avoid them. Could she have opted out after the polygraph, once knowing the questions or is that a firm committal
Anyway thats what we talked about during the show.

Yeah I thought that too, maybe their huge 2 year marriage was already over and they just wanted to get some cash or fame out of it.
I didn't know how I felt about this show but last night I realised it is in a very similar vein to Jerry Springer. A pretty heartless theme for a gameshow.
But then again people are dumb enough to go on it.

Prior to appearing on the show, each contestant is asked a series of questions (about 50 or so) while hooked up to a polygraph machine. Whatever the results were of those questions are used as the answer to the questions they are asked on the night.
They pick just some of the questions for the show. So ultimately each person knows exactly what questions will be asked on the night and if they know they were asked a question where it's likely they failed the polygraph there is therefore no point lying on the night.

I thought it was sooo stupid, we too were sking the questions of, "does he already know these things and they're miling it" or we also said "ha ha, she knew she wanted a divorce and saw this as an easy way to get one... and pay for it too" lol
But man.. sure you do that on TV, how heartless and ick is that and how morally wrong for the producers to actually use the content of those questions for their show.

That interview she did was so weird -- it's like she had been put through some ordeal that was out of her control ?!?!? rather than something she chose to do... and then at the end thanking everyone - like she hasn't even considered the effects of what she's done on everyone else around her - it's all about how SHE feels and is getting through it!!
