*looks at washed unfolded laundry*
I HATE having to wander the house looking for peoples dirty laundry.. especially those who are old enough to clean up after themselves (which is majority of this household)
Also I HATE having to b*tch at people to do their jobs.. they want money and special things that we wouldn't normally buy them, but don't want to work for it and that's just wrong
*ahem* Sorry, rant over

Oh i feel a BIG speech coming on!!!
Try living in my house hold...3 Adults, one toddler and every other weekend a pre teen!
I cook dinner every night, do the dishes every morning cos im usually to tired to do them that night. If im lucky someone might put a load of washing on but leave the hanging and folding to me...that really pisses me off and then complain if i haven't folded it and cant find what they want to wear .....weekends aren't much better they just lay around sleeping or watching telly while i clean up around them. My toddler will help me hes so cute he loves to do the vacuuming and wipe the walls down. The day i wake up and someone helps me i might cry. Granted i dont work and the other Adults in the house hold do so i should do the majority of the house work but a little help would be nice........JK will do the outside lawns, clean the cars and stuff guess thats something i dont have to do!
BUT most of all i hate IRONING!!!!!!!

Mel you shouldn't be putting the rubbish out that's a mans job!! I point blank refuse to put the rubbish out or bring the bins in. Conor & Dh can sort that one out between the two of them.

I dont mind doing the washing, the thing i really hate doing is cleaning the windows. Thats probably why my windows are so dirty especially the ranch slider, i will only clean them when they really need it.

I'm so with you on the windows Kasbee! Our windows only get cleaned when its getting hard to see through them!

I LOVE ironing and dont mind washing
But I HATE cleaning windows, that sucks and they still look smudgy afterwards.
I also HATE when DP does the vacumming and leaves the vacume cleaning laying around instead of putting it back in the cupboard. It annoys me so much I would rather just vacume myself lol

I just hate housework fullstop...the washing gets washed and either hung out, or put in the dryer, then shoved back in the laundry basket....DF asks me where his clean clothes are?? Standard response is "in the laundry". He's old enough to find it himself. Dishes are done a couple of times a week (sometimes)....when I can be bothered. Vacuuming is done.....when I can be bothered. The only "housework" DF does is lawnmowing....when I nag him for long enough (this time it took 2 months). Oh, and he helps me cook...not so good on the cleaning up though, and he's a flipping messy cook!!! So basically, I just leave it all till I can be bothered....but we don't have kids to worry about so that makes it easier. And because I do most of it, I always know where what I want is

I hate everything and I have to do everything. It usually gets left till when DH comes home or my sister comes up for the weekend. She was up this weekend just been and she cleaned my bathroom for me .
I can handle putting the washing in the machine, turn it on and hang it out (or at the moment putting it in the dryer) but as for folding I hate that the most.

I hate housework. So I pay someone else to do it Altho I do have to do the laundry, well put it in the machine then the dryer at least, the nanny folds it.
But our house also suffers from "can't put it in the wash-itis" - Maya is the worst, she dumps all her clean clothes AND her dirty clothes on her bedroom floor then I end up with the whole lot back in the wash again

I like washing and ironing.
But I HATE housework. My MIL comes to my house every second friday and we clean my house. I go to hers the fridays in between and we do hers.
But having Hannah means I have to feed and play with her while she's awake... so that gets me out of doing half of it heheh
I hate Murphy, too!
And feeding the dog and cats. I love them, but after feeding and cleaning a baby all day I don't feel I need to feed and clean up after the animals.
I also hate a dirty house.
Catch 22 anyone?

Well I would hate ironing more but I don't do it LOL so no need to hate it at all!!
I think folding would have to be my #1 pet hate for home type stuff, washing, hanging, getting it in is fine but it sits around in a big pile and I have no energy to fold it!
Another one would be cleaning up the same area constantly that *I* am not messing up and another adult human is (i.e male type of adult). That drives me bonkers, especially cleaning cat food splatters off the washing machine

i don't mind putting the washing in the machine, and hanging it out. It's having to bring it in at the end of the day and fold it - I HATE THAT!
I don't iron either. DH irons his own shirts if/when they need to be.
I have a housecleaner once a week, she cleans the bathrooms & changes the sheets on the bed, vacuums & mops. But I still have to vacuum once or twice before she comes again, now that Jett's crawling, he picks up any little crumb/leaf/fluff!
I just hate general mess. I don't mind the kids playing with their toys, but wish they didn't have to spread it out over the lounge & sitting room! And then I hate having to tell them over & over again to clean it up!

Oh i hate peeling potatoes DP does that for me most the time dont ask me why i just always have.
Fortunately we are living at my mums at the moment so most of it is always done for us

OMG cant believe you guys hate to iron!
I iron almost everything, all Neoshas clothes that can be ironed, all DPs work clothes (shirts and ties and stuff), the bed linen, tea towels and I iron my stuff just before I wear it. I love how it always smells good after and feels so much fresher after an iron AND I get the excuse to buy really flash irons and update them all the time because I use it several times a day
Maybe im slightly fanatical lol
We vacume morning and night though and mop daily and I too hate those lil icky bits of food stuck down there YUK! I also hate weeding outside and I hate when I have to go through wiping all the walls and skirting boards which is a regular job as well Hey Emma I think I need to borrow your cleaner and nanny lol

Ok for those of you who have a cleaner - what do you pay??
I have often though of getting someone in once a week to do the BAthrooms (we have 2 toilets) and ironing (probably change the beds as well)
And hence the two things I hate is IRONING - and the BATHROOMS!!

My mum vacuums morning and night, mops everyday. Cleans the bathrooms and toilets daily and makes sure her house is SPOTLESS daily.. its so hard living here because its so spotless and i feel bad when Kylah makes a mess.. which when i am moving her mum promptly comes and cleans before iv even moved her!

How often does your cleaner come in Emma?
My cleaner I've had coming up 3 yrs. She's a solo mum and on the benefit and she started off on $10 cash an hour (I asked her how much she charged and that was the price she gave me), and I'd get her for 2 hrs a week.
I then started paying her $12.50 an hour cash about 18 months after she started. And it's still that now. I feel bad that that's all I pay her, but she's actually a pretty useless cleaner!! Even after she's vacumned, I can see crumbs on the floor and after she mops, the floors are SOAKING and you have to go over it with a towel to make them safe to walk on (the kids have slipped up a couple of times after she's mopped). Also she doesn't wipe under things, just around, or move things when vacumnin, just goes around it. So it's only surface cleaning. I don't think you'd find any cleaners at the rate I pay mine. She lives just around the corner from me, so uses next to no fuel to get to my place. IF her cleaning improved I'd pay her more. She's never asked for a payrise either.
Sorry for the speal!

The house we stayed in when we were in the uk they had a cleaner but she was useless - the couple had 2 dogs and after she vacummed there was heaps of dog hairs still on the stairs etc... the bathroom a mess etc... Granted it was a 4 story 5+ bedroom house but if I had a cleaner I would expect her to do a good job!
After my ceasar I had a cleaner for 6 weeks (it was a lil less as it ran into christmas) ... she was really good and got heaps done in 2 hours -and managed to talk heaps and still get the job done - I wonder if she is still doing cleaning as i was impressed with her cleaning! Although she didn't do my ironing just bathroom, vacume, floors and beds.
