Luke has a cold.  I have a cold too.  So I decided that if he felt like I did then I should give him some paracetamol to make him feel a bit better...

Rather than using Pamol, I used the generic stuff that I got on prescription today.  He went all hyper and crazy - kicking around and stuff - he is normally pretty active but not quite like this.

Now, the pamol is colour & sugar free - this generic stuff was bright pink... could it have been a reaction to it or something else?  I talked to my mum who says I was the same as a kid - she had to weigh up pain levels with hyperness before giving it to me...

Anyone else had this?

Ayja goes cuckoo-lala on thinbgs like that. Pamol before bed makes her either sleep walk or have night terrors where she rolls around screaming unconsolably and we can't do a thing to stop her.

Phew I'm glad Alex doesn't have that reaction - he is the opposite, it really settles him. I don't know how we would have got through the last week without it!

Yeah Luke will settle and go to sleep with the colour free one - just not that pink one.  Am thinking that I might ring doctor and see if he can organise script for the colourfree one...

That's a good idea, he might have an adverse reaction to colour additives like my oldest stepson did.. his was yellows..anything that was yellow (even one yellow m & m) and he went freaking crazy!!!

Is that the cherry flavoured one??

let us know how you go bel, be good if you can get the colour free one for free, i think that colouring thing is quite common in boys, my brother was like it with yellow things too cheezels etc so i will be careful with Thomas when he is older
