I think i remember reading somewhere on here that someone made porridge in the crock pot over night, how do you do that? sounds like a great idea

Bizzy PMd me this

Serves 4

1 1/4 cups coarse rolled oats
3 cups cold water
1.4 tsp salt

Place the rolled oats, water and salt into a casserole dish
Place the dish on a trivet or preserving jar ring in the crockpot. Do not cover the dish or add water to the crockpot.
Place lid on crockpot and cook on low/auto for 8-10 hours
stir well before serving.
Pour into bowls and add cream or milk and brown sugar.
