Okay my boy is coming up 15 months ...but this question sort of applies to babies AND toddlers ...I'm just wondering when does the gristle in their ears toughen up?

Lucas' ears are still all bendy/floppy like rubber, and when he moves his head side to side at night they are STILL folding back which of course is having an effect on their shape.

Are your bubs ears still reasonably soft and floppy? lol strange question I know ...I just remember our original plunket nurse saying that if their ears end up very pronounced you can get them pinned - I don't want it to have to come to that

I can't answer your questions, but I have had ear pinning surgery myself.

Lauren has pronounced ears (inherited from me obviously, which I inherited from my Dads side of the family) and if she wants them pinned when she is older I'll happily pay for her to have them done. Cost me $3k to get mine done about 5 years ago.

Best thing I ever did for my confidence!
