Man, was I ever struck with a bad case of boredom at work this afternoon - had read the Herald online from top to bottom, and because we're not allowed to surf the net - in what seemed like the HUGE gaps between calls I was ready to take a nap !!

I have been feeling like this a lot in the last couple of days, like there isn't enough to do, and what there is available to do, isn't interesting enough !!

It probably relates to how much of a super-impatient person I am, has anyone else ever had this whole extreme boredom / super restlessness thing going on? Any ideas or suggestions or ANYTHING are most welcome !!

(And please excuse my somewhat over-zealous use of exclamation marks... I think I was just looking for some way to make you all as restless as I am LOL)

We were all finally given 'standard' internet access now that we're set up in our new office (same building, different floor), but we can't surf even during our breaks unless it's work related (Fat chance!)

Even if we could again, Trade Me would probably still be blocked, as is Hotmail (although I could get into the hotmail.com page, I couldn't open my account).

I do try and do "extra reading" and go through our internal staff website, follow up on emails that need it etc, but am *still* bored a *lot* of the time. It carries on over to home, although it isn't as bad here with hubby to talk to, the cats to feed and other small bits and pieces around the house.

I even started knitting last night and am not the fastest knitter in the whole world, but am almost done a whole square of a reasonable size ! If I keep going I will have a duvet sized quilt by the time this baby arrives LOL
