it was AMAZING!!! i wrote them all down. just wish i had of taped it so i could replay the sounds of the babies examples again.
ive written them down but have forgotten exactly what the sounds "sound" like if that makes sense?

i was listening to jackson cry in his cot and he wasnt making ANY of the sounds she listed though! it was more like an OEH OEH.
maybe hes tired AND he needs to burp

I didnt see it today, but remember seing someting very similiar a couple of years ago. Wish I could remember them though.
Maddi isnt often crying so its quite easy to tell differnet cries... now I just need to know what they mean.

I watched it on the net a few months ago when Livvy was within the age group but I could still never distinguish between the cries. She would often do a mixture of them too so it's a bit harder to tell IRL when your baby doesn't make sounds as clear as the example ones.

I never bought the dvd though so maybe she explains it a lot clearer on there.

I can't remember the website, I think it was a link on TVNZ somewhere but it's probably on you tube if you search for dunstan baby language.

I think this is it. Borrowed the video when Eva was little and it was somewhat helpful.

Neh (hunger)
Owh (tired).
Eh (upper wind) - burp
Eairh (lower wind) - massage, place across knee
Heh (discomfort - may need changing, too hot/cold)

LOL I didn't watch it but my nanny said the gremlins did, apparently they were fascinated by all the babies and Sienna wanted to be cradled and rocked like a baby

Gremlins never cried, they only screamed and it sounded like a fire engine...

If it's the same one they have repeated a few times I did a thread about it when I saw it and there's a link to a video from the show in there somewhere for anyone who didn't see it..

I saw a bit of it but I watched the dvd when when miya was newborn, she didn't make any of the same noises she was ment to and if she did they didn't mean the things they were ment to. I think I just confused matters by watching it. I guess some babies are just different.
