One of these was found when I had a scan at 7 weeks and have been told its perfectly normal and nothing to worry about but it is still the cause of pain to me and I'm wondering if anyone else had one and when it stopped being a nuisance. I've read that normally it resolves by the second trimester, did you find that the case with yours?
Also did you find it got more painful before it got better, mine has been a real bitch for the last 3 days.

Yup, I had one with our m/c baby, and again with the gremlins, apparently it's purpose is to help sustain the pregnancy until the placenta takes over towards the end of first tri, early second tri.
From memory with the gremlins I stopped getting the niggly pains about 10-12 weeks.

I had two friends with them and they both went away in the second trimester. Hope it stops bothering you soon.

I have one with this Pregnancy and at my 13 weeks scan it was still there. But it didnt really casue be much problems.....It was a bit uncomfy in the begining but nothing major.
I am not too worried as I know its common like Emma said.
Talk to our MW and tell her that this is painful as it shouldnt really be.

Yep I know its normal and they already know about the pain as thats what my 7 week scan was to check out as they thought I might have had an ectopic.
I've had a cold and been coughing a lot and have pulled all my tummy muscles so am wondering if perhaps that has irritated it in some way.
Not too long till the 2nd trimester now so hopefully the pain will stop soon. I have another scan on the 24th as well so will get it checked then.

I had to have a scan too to rule out an ectopic with the gremlins and they put the pain down to the corpeous luteal cyst.
