I am 25 weeks pregnant. When I am in bed at night and I put my hand on my stomach, I can feel a strong pulse.

I know it's not the baby's as it is in time with my own, but is this normal? I am guessing I can feel blood flow through the uterus or something but I haven't been able to find anything on Google.

Anyone else experienced their heartbeat in their stomach?!?!

Yeah same here.
When I first discovered it I was amazed! My sister who I pointed out the phenomenon to, was less than impressed

I feel this the most when I'm lying on my tummy - its the abdominal aorta - the largest blood vessel in the abdominal cavity. I guess when you are pregnant, your blood volume is increased too, so more blood surging through it.

That could be part of it cause I think I've had anterior placenta x3

Yeah as the others have said its NORMAL!

I used to hear it on my doppler and thought the babies heartbeat was slow until I realised it was MY heartbeat (this was just when I first bought it!)
Now I can hear baby D's heartbeat and my pulse on my tummy (and feel the pulse too, like you can!)

Yeah, I felt mine since about 20 weeks, and I knew it wasn't babies. I asked the midwife if it was the placenta and she said it could be.
