Its so nice all these people who need a hand getting it.

Today at work we did a morning tea shout to bring awareness to Preventing Violence in the home. I was amazed by the local businesses and donations of food and coffee etc... they did to help out not wanting anything in return.

Too many times people can be 'whats in it for me' so really nice to see there was nothing in it for them jst to make others happy (or in morning tea sense to eventually help someone)

I think its fantastic. Its all a bit "amercian" for me IYKWIM.....

I think that there are lots of people in our communities that do selfless things for other people.....my mum is busy putting together a box of baby things for a young woman who is trying to turn her life around after serving 6mths in prison (minor charge) and my mum see's the good in her. My mum does lots of things like that for people - she always sees the good in people....and never expects anything in return. I sometimes wish there were lots more people like my mum...

simsam thats nice of your mum

Deb I think she got sent home cause part of the show was to help others and the judges didn't see she did -as she relied on her partner to do it all (or at least thats what they said. I guess in the end its still a show and need something to keep people watching :-)
