It lasts for about 20 mins.

yeah i remember having that pain when i was pregnant with ella, haven't noticed it this time yet though. i asked my midwife at the time about it and she said not to worry unless it was severe and/or you had bleeding. she said that babies just bounce around during sex like a cork in a bottle so they're not really affected by it.

You know, Vanessa, it's what you did about 27 months ago and again nearly 3 months ago that resulted in your children!

lololololol!!

Well near the end of my pregnancy with Arna, David and I had "relations" and it was quite ummm errrr *cough* vigourus *cough* that Arna bunched up in a tight ball under my ribs. Well she wouldn't move and ended up meeting the m/w at the hospital at 11pm !! Anyway Arna was fine ... as the m/w put it she was "bounced" around alot and just felt it was safer where she was. Quite funni that we never had relations again until after she was born

I was told that wanting the "relations" all the time would calm down after 1st Trimester LOL *blushes*
We haven't had any adverse reaction from bubs though.

I'm the opposite, i did not want it that much during the 1st Trimester however now is a different story. I understand what the mean by in the second trimester having increased energy

I've always understood it was in the second trimester that the increased libido kicked in - certainly was the case for me both other times! and for other women I've talked to.

My man didn't get any for about 16 weeks (4 months) after our girl was born - it all depends on how your body heals and also in your head your like "a baby just came out of there and it hurt so relations will hurt" Found that was my problem!!
When you do feel like your ready again make sure your man knows that if you say no / stop then that is what happens, use lots of lube and GO SLOW!!

I feel like it a lot of the time, but when it actually comes to doing the bizzo... well, I'm just so tired!! Must make more of an effort, who knows how long it will be til I can 'put out' again after bubs is born!!
