Hi Ladies,
Does anyone know the statistic of falling pregnant after a miscarriage but before your period starts again?
Thanks

Hi Maudie
Not sure what the statistic is, but I know plenty of people who have had it happen.
They've had to go for an early scan for dating purposes, as they haven't had a full cycle before getting pg.
But I think it's fairly common, as your body is still awash with hormones.
However, you'll want to get a blood test done at the doctor, rather than relying on a POAS test, as you may still have some residual HCG in your system, so it may be confused. So a POAS may say positive, but you may not be pg. IYKWIM?
Good luck

From what I've been told, straight after a m/c or birth is the best time to get pg again as your body is still in baby mode. M/w and doc both told me to try straight after having Jack. Um, no thanks!

I had a very early m/c(6weeks pg) the month before I fell pg this time round. I have heard your the most fertile after either a pgy or m/c.

Yep, I've heard the same. I had a m/c at nearly 11wks last year then fell pregnant about two months later.
What you're saying could make sense Snickerdoodle, however they do say that false positives are highly uncommon...
I would imagine it is unlikely for HCG levels to stay high enough after a m/c for you to register as pregnant on a home test a month later. And realistically, that would be the earliest you could try one.
