my friend got one done in hamilton - i'm not sure where though... | I ended up emailing radiology places in Hamilton and have heard back from Hamilton Radiology and they do them for $95. You get a cd, dvd, and 1 print of a photo of your choice so am gonna ring today and make appt. So for the others of you who want one my MW didn't know who did them as they aren't a diagnostic tool and so said you have to ring around so maybe you could try that too. |

I have talked to both my mw and the radiographer about best timing - both recommended waiting until around the 28-30wk mark as baby has filled out and is really looking like a baby with good features etc. Any earlier and baby is quite skinny and alien looking, any later and there is very little room to navigate the sonagraph around.

I did my first 4D at 18 weeks and it was just freakish looking to be honest. I had another one at 23 weeks and it was looking much fatter and baby like - I would imagine 26-28 weeks would be pretty good, like the others said. ------------- Mum to two wee boys |
