Not sure if anyone watches Dragons Den but ages ago they had this product on it http://www.tangleteezer.com/ - Tangle Teezer

We saw it and I really liked the idea so we ordered one. We used to have tears and screaming every single time we brushed Charlottes hair- morning and night. Its not too think but it has curls and when its out it gets so knotty- it was just awful. This thing is BRILLIANT! She never cries now- its just made something that was an awful experience every day, such a breeze.   I was sceptical but if any of your kids get really knotty hair and its a battle to brush then this is definitely definitely worth trying- I know it works out quite expensive but I would honestly pay it 10 times over, it works so well. I got a couple for DHs nieces and they love them! They've just asked me to get them a couple more- I've also ordered one for myself and another for Kate on the off chance she eventually grows hair!

You can get them sent to NZ- and with the NZ$ being so strong its the best time to buy

and no I don't get commission! I just wanted to pass it on because its helped us so much!

*bump*

OMG I just discovered this brush (well I swiped my SILs one ) I can now brush both my DDs curly mops of hair without any fights, tears or 'Be Gentle Mammy'

I'm not sure if they're available in NZ at all as I'm currently in Ireland but I'll definitely be picking up a second one before returning just in case.

OMG that looks like the answer to my prayers!!! I have been seriously considering cutting charlottes hair short as the curls just get so knotty at the ends when she wears is loose, and most days she has to wear a plat to keep it tangle free.... Thsi could be it! will have a looksie!
