i had a scan at 38.5 weeks to check baby's growth as i had high blood pressure and they needed to see that she was ok..... and if i was able to be induced.....
but i dont believe theres a routine scan later on. only if they need to check something. but things are different everywhere, so dont quote me on that! |

I had one at 36 weeks to check growth and presentation as my m/w thought Maya was posterior (she was). It was really neat, you could see everything, she was a whole, complete little person. She was so squished up in there. -------------  Maya Grace (28/02/03)

My midwife let us have one again @ 30 weeks.. and then we found out I had placenta calcification so I had 3 more scans after that. Each time we asked if she was still a girl lol ------------- http://lilypie.com">

I didn't have any more scans after 20 weeks, my bleeding had stopped, so my midwife said I didn't need any unless I went privately and paid for them myself. ------------- Becca, mum of 2 girls & 3 boys |
