How much weight did everyone gain in the first three months? I know everyone is different but I'm curious to see if i'm the only whale in a mumu in the group LOL.

I put on approx 6kgs in the first 3 months
The ms didn't help, as I ate what I "felt" like, not what was the healthiest. I'm trying to be "good" now.

I put on about 6kg too. I ate lots of ice cream which kept the morning sickness away for me.
By the end though I had gained 30kg

Yep, I'm down to my pre-pregnancy weight. I'd like to loose a couple more kg though and just generally tone up more. It's taken a bit of work though

I put on about 3 in first tri this time round, mostly coz it was Xmas coz for the first 10 weeks I couldn't keep anything down so didn't gain a thing. Put on more in first tri with the gremlins, about 7-8kg I think.

I have lost 1kg.....just had no apetite. I realised today that I eat as much, if not less than Tom during the day. Its just dinner time that I outdo him. I dont think thats good. Thankfully I am not short on "reserves". Always said this body was designed to sustain pregnancy through a famine.

This time around I didn't gain anything during the first trimester. With Ethan I think that I gained about 8kg during the first trimester. I was a piggy and ate lots!!!!! oops!!!! It all came off afterwards tho.

During the first 2 months I gained 2 Kgs, I need to weight myself for the end of the 3rd month, must remember to do that.
I didnt really have bad morning sickness and just ate a few crackers when I felt a little hungry in between meals.

I was 75kgs before I got pregnant and 66kgs two weeks after I gave birth.
I went right off all my favourite (junky) foods. But I was also on my feet for 10 hours a day right up until 37 weeks.

lost 2-3 kgs during the 1st trimester because of I had such bad morning sickness. Overall I think I gained around 12kgs and most of then came off after Ella was born.

So far I have lost close to 6kgs, I dont have an appetite like I use to and find I'm not hungry often, I usually only eat 3 meals a day and they would be half the size I what I use to be able to eat.

I'd put on 7kg by the end of the first trimester. I had MS but only nausea no actual vomiting, trouble was I found the only thing that helped keep the nausea at bay was eating.
Last time I was weighed I'd put on 17kg but that was at 28 weeks and now I'm nearly 34. I'm not looking forward to breaking the 100kg mark but as long as Baby is healthy and I lose it afterwards I'm going to try not to stress about it. If only I could stop eating cake

I gained 4kg in the first trimester, and about 30kg all up. Lost 20kg immediately (baby and fluid) and am now working on the last 10 (only 9 to go!). My deal with myself is I have to be back to 75kg before we TTC #2 and that's in September so I better get my A into G.
Oh, and I will be more careful next time too. Just the fact that the only thing I could stomach for the first 17ish weeks was bread (well any sort of carb) and same in the last 10 weeks.

I gained over 20kgs in first pregnancy and then stopped weighing myself. Lost most of it but still had 5 kgs left to go, a year later, and then fell pregnant again.
This time, I lost 6kgs in the first trimester (nasty ms) but obviously with a twin pregnancy have gained a lot back. (Hopefully only in my tummy area). Im too scared to weigh myself this time.

I've lost 2-3 kgs (from my pre-IVF weight) but I think that is because I've been eating really, really well (lots of fruit and veg and drinking loads of water) and I can't stomach junk, unless No. 9 is having a *very* good day ... today I was allowed to eat a peanut slab and I nearly rolled around on the carpet in joy afterwards like my dogs do when they've had something delicious (to them - manky bones aren't my idea of delicious!) I'm a bit surprised because I'm not being too active, even though I'm eating well.
I'm hoping to keep my weight gain to around 10 kgs, but time will tell! The road to hell is paved with good intentions and all that!!

LG i know that when you get pregnant your body metabolism slows down so that maybe it- and maybe youve actually put on less than you think- my weight gain was really fast in the first tri- but has slowed down alot to where when i last weighed myself i didnt gain any weight over 2weeks! coming from having gained 11kgs in 4wks!...............so ive jst learnt as long as im eating healthy, im not gona bother about the weight!

Is it true that you loose heaps when you start to feed?

I only expressed for 3 weeks, but did lose weight. When I stopped b/f I gained 3kg back.
A friend told me the other day that a lot of people drop the weight after the 6month mark, it has been true for her and another mum in our AN group so a good reason to keep b/f till then if you can (if only... maybe then I would fit my clothes again!)

I've just been to the doc's and have put on 23kg (doctor says its only 17 but I think she forgot about the initial 6 I'd put on before my first antenatal appointment) still got 6 weeks to go so am well on my way to hitting the 100kg mark.

I just weighed myself - a little daunting but got a nice surprise - I have only put on 15kgs so far in this pregnancy! I had put on well over 20kgs in my last pregnancy so was expecting a lot more this time round with twins. I was wrong.

I lost 8 kgs in the first trimester and have put on 3.5kg since. Don't want to put on any more than another 7.5kg but you never know. I'm not going to worry about it too much - just trying to be healthy

Finally worked up the courage to weigh myself and I've only put on 2 kgs but my tummy is WAY bigger than before...very strange. I've already started hoping BF sucks all the weight off me!
