so after years of enduring
"why don't you move to sydney" the in-laws are over aus and looking to move back to NZ....DH suggested Palmerston......Lord help us all.

I get one relatveily well with the in laws - we had a massive fight with the SIL last xmas but she's over that now (I'm not entirely). MIL can be a PIA but I can tell her to back off and it goes down okay....but still, in the same town>???????

So I am "Helping" find them some jobs...in Hamilton, Wellington and Auckland. Still feeling Wellington a wee bit close, but hey, better than down the road.

My FIL told me on the weekend if we do move to Aussie, they will too.

DH's thoughts on this was "the whole point was to move away from them, hardly seems worth the effort does it?"

Good luck Lizzle.

When we were thinking about moving to Brisbane a couple of years back, the outlaws said the exact same thing. Hence we never went.

Uh-oh, same town, you'll need some major ground rules!  Surely they won't be able to find decent work in PN though, maybe Chch or Dn instead.

DH was all keen to move to Featherston recently because his mum doesn't want to live over there so would have to go and stay with one of the 7 other kids.  Looks like they've patched things up though and we'll all be staying put.  It has it's pros and cons, I've not weighed them up yet though.

Haha Liz I could be really mean and say to them I have a house they can rent just around the corner . But i'm not that mean. You def have to "help" them find a job in the south island.

LOL at 'helping' them find jobs far, far away! You crack me up, Liz.
But think of the babysitting opportunities if they're in Palmy! Niiiice.

Oh the joy of having inlaws *sigh*. Mine live her in Hamilton! They're not so bad when they're not ringing asking for money, to use your credit card number, to fix things, to organise their finances. Or when they tell people that their son + family never had it better than when they boarded with them, and that now they've left they'll have more money and food in the cupboards.......and yet a week after we moved out they were asking people for money. Inlaws are funny things aren't they!. I'm glad my parents are totally the opposite to DP's honestly you'd think my DP was their parent, not the other way round.
