Ok so the female officer's solider ( who seems to be suffering from PTSD) took her husband and Claudia-Joy (I cringe whenever they say her name!!) hostage over something the wife did over in Iraq, basically chose to keep their position secret and it meant some Iraqi civilians that helped them died 
In the end the guy was taken out by the red-head (surrogate)'s husband. And still no news on the other woman's husband who is either lost or dead, they were supporting her through it but she was really angry and told all the visitors to get out, and won't talk to her son (understandably, since he hits her). Oh we also found out the red head husband is in the delta force and his wife figured out that he may be sent in to try to resuce the missing soliders who went down in the black hawk...but he can't confirm anything and won't even be able to tell her when/if he goes. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

the psychs wife told the story of why the other guy was upset with her....apparently he stayed with a family when he was injured and went back to help them with his squad but found that they had been attacked and the young girl of the family was being raped....their orders were to remain under cover and therefore they couldnt go in and help the family....she was then killed
enough i think to test anyones mental health!!! watching something like that happen, wanting to stop it but for your teams safety not being able to in army terms the leader did the right thing...but morally?????

Funny that you say this, because I was reading in the TV Guide that the show is very popular with the US viewers. It's been given the thumbs up by the US Department of Defense and the servicemen themselves. Even presidential candidates have both paid tribute to the show.. Nah, I'm loving it. If it wasn't dramatic I probably wouldn't bother watching it, I turn on the tv to enjoy a bit of fiction. I have heaps of friends and family who are nurses and their jobs/lives are nothing like those portrayed in SS and I don't know of any hospital in NZ that has a bar across the road but that doesn't put me off watching SS either. -------------

I agree....most shows, eve (or especially) reality shows....are OTT and nothing like real life...we watch them for escapism and nothing more.

Well I am living on camp and it is nothing like that here (well I have only been here for a week). It is friendly here but that is about it at the moment.
