1 of the kids at jetts caregiver has come out in chicken pox today.

I had them as an adult. I was told by the doctor they were contagious before the spots came out AND when I had spots/blisters.
Alot of people say that once the spots are out that it is no longer contagious, but I'm pretty sure this is a myth as I had to have 2 weeks off work and be isolated. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

Mine have all had them, they are contagious from 10 days before the spots appear until the spots have all scabbed over.
I agree tho, better to get them over and done with, every time they had an outbreak at Maya's daycare I hoped that she'd get them lol. ------------- Maya Grace (28/02/03)

I got told they were contagious from 3 days before the first spots (altho the first day there were only 2 spots, we had no idea!) until the last ones have scabbed over, which can take up to a couple of weeks. We are hopefully at the worst now (day 5) ------------- http://lilypie.com">
