I know he's on holiday, but Breakfast just isn't the same without him! I just haven't warmed to that other guy, and it annoys me how he always looks so scruffy.... come on Paul, enough holiday already!

LOL Char - it means kinda harsh. It also means sour when referring to food (as in a lemon is acerbic) but I like that to refer to people as well

Ha ha I totally agree. I think that Martin Devlin's been ok but he's got nothing on Paul Henry. I love his sense of humour & how he tells it like it is.

I think he's away for 2 months so he's probably not even half way through his holiday yet

I miss Paul Henry too, I did like it when Simon Dellow was on but he is totally different to Paul. And I've never really liked Pippa, I think she's a ditz.

Mark Sainsbury did it for about a week and then Peter Williams did it for awhile and poor Neil Waaka had to do the morning news for Peter on Neil's birthday and looked really unhappy about it. Then Simon Dellow for a week and then Greg Boyed did it for awhile and now Martin Devlin.

I don't think anyone wants to do it all the time Paul is away cos of the timeslot, can't blame them.

I watch it almost everyday, cos its usually missy's first feed around 7ish.

heheh I like her for that very reason.
She's a breath of fresh air compared to Paul's acerbic-ness (hehe I like that word!).

lol , now i have the theme song from Danger mouse in my head !
Dannnnngggeerrr mmoooouussee

i remember when that man who killed those people at the Panmure RSA was stabbed or something in prison (his name escapes me im sorry ) and Paul Henry said something like " i hope it hurt " , and i thought FINALLY !!! a news presenter who is honest and will say what most of us are thinking , it makes him seem more human somehow, whether it was the "pc" thing to say or not, to me it showed he was very honest in stating how he feels
