Ok, I am looking at getting some washable nappies, and just need reasuring regarding liners. Can any sort of liner be used for washable nappies?
Eg the Johnson & Johnson nappy liners you can buy from the supermarket, can you use them in fitted nappies?

I don't use liners, the newborn poos I just rinsed out in the laundry tub and now he has solid poos they just peel off the fleece and into the loo.
But to answer you question yep as far as I am aware any liner will fit any nappy.

I might be wrong here, but I thought the johnson & Johnson liners are the only ones that aren't flushable, so I'd avoid them and buy some online. I don't use liners either.

i don't know about the johnsons ones being flushable, but i just buy a mtr of microfleece and cut it into strips. it works out alot cheaper ($3-4/mtr) and you get heaps of liners you can re-use. i'm already washing the nappies, so what's a few liners to wash.
i only use them when charli goes to daycare, as they ask me too and if i'm using bum creams

We use the Johnson and Johnson liners from the supermarket in our fitteds. They say not to flush them but I have on occasion when they have been really nasty

I agree with the above....check they are flushable before buying them from the supermarket.

Thanks ladies, I just used the Johnson & Johnson ones as an example since there are now so many different liners, trying to find the most affordable way to have nappies lol.

i *think* the cheapest flushable liners are the bio liners - 100 for $7

Hi. We use bio liners in our prefolds and covers - they're fantastic. Bio liners are washable if they aren't too dirty so they're economical too. If they're dirty, just flush them down the toilet - no messes! We've tried J and J ones but they're a pain when they're not flushable and if you wash them, blue fluff can get everywhere :-)
Good luck!
