Has been locked up!! She got arrested yesterday and has to spend untill tomorrow in the cells. Do you know if shes allowed visitors?
She stupidly went with a girl to cash converters to pawn stuff and the girl didnt have ID so my sister said she will do it for her. Turns out the stuff was stolen in a burglary the day before! Last night at 4pm we had 7 cops burst in and had a search warrent, the kept us all in one room and wouldnt let us move untill they found my sister. She doesnt even live with us. Boy was i mad! Ugh, I'm sorry to hear you went through this Kandice.. Is she at a local cop shop or at an actual prison? If she's in a prison she'll be allowed visitors by arrangement, but if she's in the cells at a local cop shop you might want to give them a call first -------------

Yep Neeks is pretty much onto it there - if it were a prison then they have set visiting times, but if it is a local station you might want to ring first as it is up to them whether a prisoner is allowed visitors or not.

unlucky timing...if locked up sat afternoon on then her first appearance is monday morning...and probably will be a long morning too as those are the busiest!!!!
she is probably in police cells if there is room....they send overflow to remand etc.... id be guessing no visitors in the cells at the cop shop....first you will see of her will be tomorrow morning...make sure she gets a good duty solicitor.... silly girl....and what a horrid friend to leave her take blame...hope she rats on the person..she wont want theft or conversion on her record! ahhh i do NOT miss doing criminal law!

Thanks BS, Well they let her out this arvo, her lawyer told them that they cant keep her in at all for recieving stolen goods, she should never have spent the night. Before he arrived they were telling her to plead guilty to burglary and they will let her out!! The lawyer said that the cant even do her for recieving as she never even touched the stuff, It was a camera they pawned. The police said they are going to fingerprint it to see if shes lying. Found out the girl isnt even her friend, it was a girl visiting a guy at her house, a 19yo who was 7 months pregnant. Told shannon she was doing a photography course and that shes no longer doing it because shes pregnant and just needs the money! Man it makes me mad, my sister didnt even know! She showed the police where she lived and her name everything. They took her cellphones and said she cant have them back as they are evidence. ------------- ~ Mummy to a beautiful girl ~ |
