OMG OMG Billy Joel is coming to NZ in December!!!!! He's #2 on my list of those I must see if they cross our shores - just below Bon Jovi (who I'm still kicking myself for not mortgaging something to get to!). I'll be a month away from baby's due date then... now, when's the cut-off for flying? I have a feeling I'm out of luck here. Does anyone know? TIA

I flew at 30 weeks and was fine but the airline (Air NZ) said I was lucky because the cut off date was 35 weeks

It'd probably depend on the airline, but I think some you might need a medical certificate to fly after 36 weeks... I think the full stop for every airline is 38 weeks.

32 weeks - no doctors cert
36 weeks - doctors cert needed.

these were domestic. Freedom air never cared, but airnz asked for one from me.

Yup what she said....domestically we're not so fussed on to be honest but internationally and multiples or other pregnancy complications then yeah we like to know everything is in order.

He he, Billy Joel is cool full-stop, if you ask me! It could be my last 'hurrah' before re-entering motherhood take 2.

Do it. I saw him many centuries ago when I was in my late teens and it was a fabulous concert. Am seriously considering selling a body organ to see him again. Plus my 6 year old ( ) is Billy Joel crazy and it's close to her birthday!!
