I hope they do to, a Sydney vs Magic final will be well worth the watch. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

Yeh what a game....51 - 49......Casey what a champ never gave up. By far the player of the match.....lucky we had that 9 goal lead in the 3rd.....Bring on the Swiffs next sunday night! -------------

Great 3 quarters that I saw. Amigene, Joline, Casey OMG they played well. Casey sure put her body on the line - she looked absolutely stuffed! Love how Noeline's mixed things up by swapping Irene and Maria around and putting Amigene at centre. Seems to be working so far.
Man the floor looked slippery - surprised no-one was hurt! Bit nervous about the final - hope they haven't played their best. Bring it on! |

What a wicked game!
Certainly did work putting AJ at C didnt it! Last week she really wasnt feeding the ball that well into the shooters but last night she didnt lack anything she just fired it in - it was great caught the defenders with their heads down! Will be interesting to see what the lineup is next week! I hope the Magic can do it, but they really have to take it up another notch to beat the Swifts - the Swifts just look so um Swift! lol. And OMG totally Casey - wow. That girl is seriously amazing. How much does she totally stand up game after game after game! She totally deserved that car. Bring on the final!!! |

Well tonights the night...FINALS are here...it seems like ages since last weeks game.....any way just a reminder to those of you who LOVE netball like myself...game tonight at 8.30pm on sky sport one....thats the build up tho i dont think the actual game will start till around 9pm if you miss that or dont have sky and your keen for a late night its on at 11pm on TV 1....

Thanks for the reminder. I'm at home with a banging head cold and was wondering how on earth I was going to stay up till 11pm to watch it but now I've realised it's on SKY I can hopefully hold out that long. Fuzzy brain.

I was so guttered I was flying home from Australia last night when the final was on!! I have pretty much watched EVERY game - but come the big final I wasnt near a TV at all! Damn!
Anyway, soon as I got home I flicked on the TV and managed to get the whole last quarter - thought the first few minutes of the last quarter that we had a game on - but then it just filtered away didnt it! Guttered. The way they were talking did Maria not shoot that well? And what lineup was on during the first 3 quarters? |

Guttered.....i wasn't impressed with the game at all...but here's a low down....
Maria started at GS but never really took any shots and missed her first couple. Anigene started at C and Laura at WA...neither of them started very well either with balls been tossed out over the back line. Jodi was on for the first 3 quarters but didn't really do much to contain Pratley and Casey wasn't really playing at her best either with Cox ruling the circle. Cox was a form and basically never missed a shot and could do no wrong for her team! Changes were made but every time they pulled a few back the Swifts came right back at them.. Personally i don't think our girls had heart last night and from the get go they looked out of sink with each other...shame really cos they play so beautifully together through out the season with a few hick ups along the way. I feel for them, they will all be disappointed in their performance that they put on show last night. -------------

I am so gutted that I hardly got to watch any of these games,and only get to hear about them on the news or on line. stupid sky....... ------------- Isaac is 6, Ethan is 4, Rico is 2 and Hunter is almost 1! |

| Not a good week for NZ sport - maybe the AB's loss rubbed off on them???? I agree Deez they didn't look like they had any fire in their bellies and everytime they got a turnover they threw it away. Laura and Amegene had a mare of a game and if Irene hadn't been on form it would have been a whitewash. I went to bed halfway through the last quarter as the writing was on the wall! Oh dear oh dear. |
