I need to find some specific lollies for decorating Alex's birthday cake but I couldn't find half the ones I needed at my supermarket.

is there still the chocolate shop in Takapuna- I think they were on Hurstmere Rd? they might have some different lollies? there is also the lolly stands that you see in the middle of shopping malls, but don't know if they have anything different than supermarkets (might be worth a try through?).

There is an awesome selection of lollies available at http://www.remarkablesweetshop.co.nz/ - Remarkable Sweet Shop Orrrrr in Takapuna, there is a great little boutique sweet shop on Hurstmere Road just up near the corner where Wendy's used to be. Try the 'Chocolate Boutique' in Birkenhead. I bought all the stuff there for Sam's birthday cake and they have a massive selection of lollies and cake decorating stuff. It is on the main rd not far down from the mall entrance on the same side. ------------- http://lilypie.com">
