This might seem like a bit of a cop out but since I foudn out I am pregnant I find it hard to be motivated about work. I have worked very hard to get to my position now and I am pretty passionate about what I do normally, but man oh man now I just think "so what?" I am sitting here at work and I know I shoudl be doing important stuff but it just feels like its not so important and taht I am just passing time to get through the next 26 weeks!
I work full time and long hours, and as it stands I will prbably work till about 36 - 37 weeks if all oges according to plan and health is good. However will I get through the next 5 months?
ANyone else feel like this...?

Yea me!!! I spend at least half my work day doing near to nothing. I am not sure why but i get no where near the volume of work out now than i got out before i found out i was pregnany. I wonder why that is? I don't have an explanation

yep I did, I was very money and career orientated until I had Kobe and realised that it jsut isnt important at all. Now I work two mornings a week because it gets me out of the house and I can still keep up with whats happening for when I go back longer hours but rather than worry about work when I get home, my motto is, it can wait till when Im next in and dont give it another thought.

Yep, and I have no excuse - I work from home! I absolutely love my job to bits, but it's hard to be motivated when I feel so sick and yucky all the time.

Funny thing is I had some deadlines today which I had to meet and I actually feel much better now having done a good days work!

What's motivation?

Seriously though I feel the same way! On the upside...I just can't seem to stress any more...but right now all I'm interested in is going on maternity leave and being a mum! of course the bank accounts tell me that's not possible...
