Today is Kiya's 5th birthday... so far, she's having a great day! We had her party on Saturday so that family could travel down from the Bay of Plenty for it... it went really well!

| I can see them! Happy birthday Kiya! have a great day at school. When my nephew started school, after the first week, he was suprised to find out that, that wasn't the end, he had to keep going for another 12 years or so. He thought you just went once or twice - end of story. |

I'm back home now... I stayed the first hour with her. I'd hoped to only stay 30 minutes, but as she was still holding onto my trousers, I knew that wasn't going to work!
When I left, she was sitting at her new desk, doing some writing ("f", "F", "9", "Kiya" if you're interested) and she was happy for me to go. Its a funny kinda feeling - she's my little girl! yet she's a big girl now! Well, I went to pick Kiya up early at 1:30 (they have a break from 1:30 till 2) and she wanted to stay for the rest of the day! Suzi (her teacher) said that Kiya's been fine, and so she's still there!
Suzi is also our neighbour, and today her husband is home so she's dropping her kids home after school. She's going to drop Kiya off home too! ------------- Becca, mum of 2 girls & 3 boys |

She's loving it, Roksana! Tells me that I can go after I get her there in the morning, doesn't want to finish early (which is still an option as she gets used to the longer day) and looks forward to the next school day!
