Can anyone who used infacol with their babies for wind issues advise when they stopped using this? Oliver had really bad wind when he was little so we started using Infacol in every bottle. This has been amazing, but I am just wondering when I can stop using it? Is it when they are able to sit up by themselves....?

TIA
Amanda

We used infacol on and off until he was 1. We just tried not giving it for a day, if he was fine we stopped, if he had wind still we kept giving it.

I think Josh was about 4 months when we stopped using it.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I stopped using Infacol when I discovered Gripe Water LOL nah seriously... I stopped using Infacol when Keziah was about 4 months old (when she could bring the wind up herself) but I still use Gripe water when she gets hiccups.... it's wonderful!!!!

I'm not sure about infacol but Chloe was on meds for wind/reflux and we stopped giving those to her when she was about 5 months as the chucking and wind problems just seemed to improve dramatically then. The Dr said it was because the valve in her stomach had finally grown enough to start working better.

We are still using it and love it. I have started reducing it however so Emma's only getting 1/2 dose each feed and it still seems to do the trick. I'm planning to slowly faze it out that way
