Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere but I got this email yesterday - hopefully will be of use to those mummies-to-be after nursery furniture.

Touchwood Productions who manufacture a range of quality furniture are holding a factory sale to clear surplus stock. They have nursery furniture and accessories plus bed frames and drawer units. Further savings can be made on near perfect models.
When: Starts Saturday 2nd of August. Hours: Saturday 2nd 9.00am to 4.00pm, Sunday 3rd 10.00am to 2.00pm, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm. You will find them at: 74 Main Road, Tawa, Wellington.

OK.... we're $660 poorer!!

Got a Rimu Stain Villa Panel cot for $475 (cheapest I have found online is $620) and a mattress for $185 (normally $270). There were some slightly cheaper mattresses as well.

Note that the factory sale prices don't seem significantly cheaper than what you can buy the cots for during the week from the Factory Outlet, but at least they're open on the weekend!

The cots will be ready for pick up in about a week.

Very excited by our purchase!! The cots are beautiful.

I have decided to put off buying a cot as we have cariboo bassinet for baby, and will wait till the grandparents come and visit from the UK cos they have mentioned wanting to get us something for baby (hint hint )
