After the recent storms battering out country and destroying many family homes in various ways I was wondering what things would you take if you were being evacuated and had an hour to pack up your most important possessions, not including DH, kids pets etc lol. The external hard drive ... as it has all our photos, music and misc backups

Nope ... Id also grab my engagement and wedding ring (as my fingers are too fat to fit them at the moment).

Yup I have to agree with you Kels & Melanie - Lucas' baby book, photos, dvds and his fave toy & noddy dvd. Other than that I have nothing I'd be upset over losing, Lucas is my everything

I have a box that has all our inportant documents in it, so I would take that. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

i keep all our important docs in a box too so it's easy to grab it all in one go

My photos they are way too presious. I have an external hard drive with them on and back up cds (as some aren't on the external hard drive) One day i will get round to scanning the others onto the computer so i have all my photos on one place. Oha nd our professional photo we got done of th ekids as no back up for that. (not to mention it cost a fortune LOL)
and thats it all else is replaceable ------------- Ann
