oh my I would so love another baby but I am bridesmaid for my sister's wedding in march next year so if I was to get pregnant now (as in this month) I would be due april/may next year and I don't really fancy being 8-9 months pregnant and being a bridesmaid. Also wedding is in Auckland so a couple of hours drive so yeah would be too far for me if I was that far along.

also in saying that DH isn't convinced (yet) that we should have a 2nd....hopefully come march next year (when I said we should talk about it then) he will have decided he would like a 2nd.

so until march 09 at least I need to stop being clucky..lol yeah right

I have no idea, but I'll be watching this thread coz I need to be able to turn my cluck-radar off, I have enough children!

Mum reckons she got really clucky when my youngest brother was about a year old and she really wanted another one but she'd already sent dad off for the snip and so she had no choice but to get over it.

Oh that's easy.  Get pregnant and you'll rid yourself of cluckiness

Alternatively set yourself a TTC date (after your sis's wedding) then at least you have something to work towards.

(oh and come and join us in the 'waiting to TTC' thread)

You could always start trying a little earlier - December/January, so if you did fall straight away, you still wouldn't be showing by the wedding day.

But then - you'd have to skip all the lovely champagne on the day.

i don't think there's anyway to stop the cluck except to get pregnant..........if anyone knows any other way, then please please tell me!!

I know it wont help you but ive managed to solve the cluckiness i was having.

Also want to say i was preggy when my sis announced her engagement and was bridesmaid at 33weeks. Wedding was 4 hours away and i had a fabulous time.

I recently went thru this because I was in too much pain in a regular cycle to TTC (ie come off the Pill) - until I was diagnosed, so now I am pg

The cluckiness is almost impossible to curb or "cure" but you can always offer to do a lot of day-babysitting! It's a good way of finding out how two will be like as well.
