What do you take for them?? I am (on dr's advice) taking brofen every 6 hours and a lemsip every 4 hours. I am also downing vicks vapodrops aswell very often as my throat is killing me, and couch mixture every 6 hours for the horrible cough I have. And to top that all off I am also taking an antibiotic for my sinuses as there is an infection in there. Anything else I could take?? (and remember I live in the middle on nowhere so can't get to a shop all that easily, apart from the 4 square that is really expensive). ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

The only thing I would recommend is taking some vit c and also a probiotic as the antibiotics will kill off all the good bacteria in your gut as well as what they are actually designed to kill off. If you can't buy a probiotic (tablet form is normally the most potent) then some good acidifilous (sp?) yoghurt. -------------

| Hot lemon, honey and ginger drinks. Lots of water. Lots of vit c and zinc. Convita throat lozenges. Been sick for a few days but just starting to get better. Yay!!! |

sorry no advice but i feel for ya! we are all just getting over the flu and it was the crapiest most horrible flus we have ever had!!!
