Who has been to both? Which do you prefer? We want to take Kylah for her 1st Birthday?

What didnt you like and what did you like?

Thanks

I like both. Willowbank is smaller so quicker to get round which might be good if she gets bored of it, also willowbank has a much better cafe than orana. However Willowbank isn't really pushchair friendly (you can get one round but might need a hand at some bits), both times I've been I put Spencer in the front pack instead. Orana is much bigger and easier to navigate with a pram.

Willowbank is also a lot more hands-on for a little on that Orana Park is. I like them both but think maybe a little one might like Willowbank a bit more?

I like them both too but think that Willowbank is much more hands on for littlies. They can see the animals a bit more closer up (great english there!) and have a wee petting zoo bit. There are still monkeys at willowbank but no Tigers, Lions or Hippos so it depends what you were wanting.

i like them both but i agree with the other ladies....i think kylah will enjoy willowbank more. it's abit more hands-on and the animals aren't in such a big enclosure so easier to see

we went there not too long ago (check www.vouchermate.co.nz for discounts ) and the kids absolutely loved it!   have you got one of those umbrella strollers? it's easier to use one of those rather than a 3-wheeler

Totally agree with the other ladies too! We bought a year pass ($29 for the year for an adult under 5's are free) as it is $21 for an adult just to go once. We have been so much. Charlotte just LOVES it there. We took her to Orana Park too and while she did love that she wanted to walk and she got so tired and the animals can be a long way away. Willowbank is great, totally reccommend it!

Also meant to say that last time we went I had Harry in the pushchair and he was fine. The only thing was having someone to hold the gates open a couple of times. It was no problem

Yeah I agree with everyone Williowbank is better while they are young. The year long passes are so cheap too. While it could be easier to get around with a pram I've managed with a double on my own and its fine. Just watch out of those deer at the start they steal the bag of food
