I'd get the winter and standard one, cos then you'll always have one to use. The summer ones won't be enough in winter, and the winter ones will be way too hot in summer.
We have a standard weight one. Harry wears a singlet, longsleeved bodysuit and all in one pjs with feet (all cotton). Then his gogo bag. Over him we tuck a cotton sheet and a cotton blanket folded in half. We have the heater on on low in his room so it's usually about 18 degrees. Hope that helps.

We have the winter one and the standard one (for summer).
At the moment Madison has wool vest, merino or cotton PJS, gogo bag and then a blanket over the top. Her room is about 21oC. She often crawls around and out of the blanket but she is still warm enough.

I have just ordered the standard and winter weight set, am waiting for them to arrive!
We have a standard one at the moment which we have just started using, so am getting a couple more to have on rotation. Went for the different weights so there is a heavier one for the colder nights.
Last night he was in a standard bag with his all in one PJs underneath. Heater on at 18 degrees. It was a bit colder last night so I also covered him with a fleece blanket tucked under the mattress and a merino blanket over the top of that as well. Will not use the blankets once the duvet bag arrives.

We don't use GoGo bags, the gremlins have GroBags instead but they have two of each weight so they have one on and one in the wash for each season.

We use the merino Go Go Bag and it is fantastic.
We are currently in flannette pj's and bag but no blanket. My house is warm enough without it.
We find the merino great as it is warm in winter and cool in summer, we literally use it all year round.
The other good thing is we don't need to wash it as much, just air it out

We don't use blankets with our go go bag either, they are warm enough and designed so you shouldn't need too.
I recommend getting both bags (and I have the pjs too which rock!)

Wow I was just looking at the Grobag ones and didn't realise you can get a free room thermometer with each one you buy..does anyone know if it's the Grobag Egg or something else?

I love gogo bags - I can sleep easy all night knowing she is the perfect temp.
I vote for a summer and a winter weight too. That mix is working well for us - even at this time of the year the summer one is ok during the day while the winter is in the wash.
Someone mentioned they used a fleece blanket - I might be wrong, but I think it says you should only use natural fibres with the go go bags.

That was me. I should have said that his room has three outside walls, one of which is really long and has windows pretty much the full length, and not a lot of insulation. Its a nightmare layout!
The fleece blanket is just a temporary measure until the duvet weight bag arrives, and it also serves to pin him in place a bit whilst he gets used to sleeping in the bag. When he is in the duvet bag, I will use a cotton cot sheet to do the same.

My mum bought me one standard and one winter go-go bag and I use both. We live in Tokoroa and it has been a bit chilly, so i use the winter weight one on the cold nights and the standard one during the day. Hope this helps, they are awesome inventions as my 3 month old insists on kicking her legs around and removing blankets if she's not in her bag. Also, when i started using them at about 2 months, she started sleeping longer at night (we are now up to about 8 hours in one stretch - yay!) which i think has been helped by the sleeping bag! Good luck

We have got the standard bags for both girls (Amy is notw in the toddler sized bag). They are great, and they are OK for the summer.
The Gro-bag egg is different to the free room thing that you get with the bags- It is digital and doubles as a night light. We got one for Sophie's room as it is like an oven in the summer and a fridge in the winter. I am really pleased with it - was not sure when I ordered it as it was $60 (?) but I couldn't do with out it.

yep normal that the holes dont line up as they are seated in the car so the back one should be lower than the front one to allow for bum curvature
