My fingers have swollen up in the cold and now I can't get my wedding ring off. It really hurts when I do exercise. I have tried soap and warm water. Can I use moisturiser??? ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

Got any butter or cooking oil? Use either of those.

Plain moisturizer will work.. or cooking oil or even soaking your hands in warm (not hot) water will help reduce the swelling -------------

Yay thank you I just used Nigel's face moisturiser (the only one I could find) and it came off with a bit of effort. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

take them off in the morning....your fingers will be smaller then....esp after a shower....thats how i get mine off.....altho when i want to throw them at DH they come off pretty easy LOL

His ws the first I found. When they got into the army they gave them all some Alpha Keri moisturiser for some reason, so he uses it after he has a shave everyday. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

i would probably use DH's moisturiser too, mine is to darn expensive for ring removal! -------------
