Hello there. I am mummie to Harvie a monster of a 10.5 month old. I just wanted to start a forum about YOUR fav movies.

I recently decided to return to some sort of work. I used to work in a corporate job in Sydney and was held up at gun point with a gun to my face in 2004. Since going through Post Traumatic Stress Disorder WAIL being pregnant I took some time off. My Hubby got an offer of transfer with his company to NZ. We jumped. We both wanted to raise Harvie in a safe and interesting place, and we couldn't have been more accurate place. We LOVE NZ. (I know he is aussie, but he LOVES his Kiwi mates)

Anywho.. I decided that when I returned to work I would do something totally different and something I liked. I LOVE movies and when we moved here I asked the local video shop if they were looking for someone part time. They said "yes". SO, I am working every Sunday and Monday at my local video shop and LOVE it.

I just finished watching "Flight Plan" with Jodie Foster and WOW! What a great movie. If you want suspense and drama. With a couple of tears (for those of us with little ones) this is the movie.

If any of you want to know about a movie, let me know and I will see it or tell you about it.

If you want a good thriller, "Skeleton Key" With Kate Hudson. Very good. Want a movie to see with your sister or best girlfriend? "In Her Shoes".

Let me know what you think of these movies and others you have seen. It will make my job easier, as people ask me what to rent all the time. Seen a movie and want to tell someone how good or bad it was?... Here I am !!! Tell me!! He he he.

I LOVE hayao Miyazaki who is a animator from japan. he made some great movies including Spririted Away and Howls' moving castle, but the best one ever is My neighbour Totoro - a fantastic kids movie. if your video store doesn't have it, they should get it (avaiblable now at selcted KMart stores). Hoenstly I LOVE it so much, I have it in japanese and in English.
