i'm so gutted....my puppy managed to trip over the cord of my hair straightner and broke the plates!!
they were really great straightners, the best i'd tried and the guy that i bought them off has moved to aussie and only selling them on ebay...which means it costs more
so.....there's so many different ones on TM now, has anyone got one recently that they would recommend??
or...does anyone have a prostyle pikasso wet to straight they'd like to sell? it came in a pink box and has a button on a silver pad that you push to turn it on

That sucks :(
I stand by my GHD, love it, had it for 2 years and still looks brand new and I use it every 2nd day or so.

That sucks alright. It will be a sad day when my GHDs die (& even more so because DH probably wouldn't let me buy another pair).
Before I got them I tried some from the Warehouse & some from Briscoes & I just found them nowhere as good as the GHDs have been. My hair is pretty stubborn so the cheaper branded ones just didn't do as good a job.
Maybe try reading some of the feedback to see whether or not others have found them any good?

I got my GHD on Trade Me two years ago for $280.
I just checked feedback and did my homework on the seller.
Very happy with my purchase.

i would love GHD's but there's no way i could afford them and i couldn't justify spending that much on a straightener..........(just me though!)
the ones i had were awesome and i only paid $40 for them....they were better than my remington ones
will have to trawl through the feedback and see...

I bought my GHD's off TM - Mother and MIL were so impressed, I also bought them sets as well! They were only $269 about 2 years ago but as long as you do your homework, read feedback etc, it will be fine.
