He got the bronze medal, poor guy, he has been taken off in an ambulance....

He is really really sick, began throwing up after race and can't move..... What a huge effort!

Very proud of him!

how disappointing it must be though - all that work, to be undone by a stomach bug, gutting for the poor guy.

but yah bronze....

I know, so unfair. I think if he goes to London he should take all his own food next time!! Poor guy, but amazing effort. It just amazes me the commitmment and the way they push themselves, incredible.

With the amount of effort (or lack thereof) that went into qualifing and done so easliy she should so get gold.

Man, I can TOTALLY sympathise with Mahe Drydsdale - "Beijing Belly" hit both my DH and I while we were there last month! It's NASTY! Poor guy.

Valerie Vili won the shotput = 20.56m, an area record. What a legend. We're now 14th on the table, with Hayden Roulston getting Silver in the cycling.

They always seem to get overlooked, all the news reports today reported everyone else by name and then 'the mens pair' got bronze. Go Nathan and George I say!!
