ok here is my "problem"

I have a pair of jeans that I have practically lived in for the past 10 years (bar when I was preggy), but now the time has come to put them out of their misery and send them to the big rag pile in the sky as the inner thigh seam is about to split (due to wear and tear, not my ever expanding thigh circumference! LOL).

Here's the problem, do I spend $80+ on a replacement pair that won't fit in a few months time and may or may not fit after bubs #2 OR do I spend the same/less on maternity jeans that I know I will need? (because I WILL get pregnant of course )

This even has Mr "practical with all things financial" DH stumped!

I've found its always best to buy your current size at the time. What are maternity jeans like to wear when you're not pregnant?
Although if you've had the same pair for 10 years and had Caitlin in that time, aren't you just as likely to fit a repalcement pair after you've had #2?

I just bit the bullet and bought a $20 pair off TM

I had 2 pairs of hand-me- down JK jeans when I was pregnant but had to return those. I loved those and wore them after I had her

I was going to suggest belly bands...
Buy a new pair and use them.

I used them all through pregnancy and could keep wearing my favourite jeans.
It got abit hard towards the end, but I was housebound by then, so I lived in my pj's

Max now have a fantastic new range called Yummy Mummy for $99. I'm only 7 weeks and bought a pair because my dearly loved jeans were a bit snug and I didn't want to be doing my little one any harm. They are fantastic, they range from size 8 - 16 and have elastic parts at either size to expand as you do. The great thing is that I can wear them now with a belt, until I no longer need to and then they should be fine to see me through the next few months. They look like normal jeans and feel comfy.

You can always buy some cheaper jeans from the likes of Glasson and Jay-jays...they are pretty good quality....i think they are about $50....and then you can buy the size you are now....

You can borrow my maternity jeans if you like....i wont be needing them after November....

I would buy them to jinx yourself into getting pregnant straight away.

I still wear my JK maternity jeans but with the side panels pulled right in. They are really comfy.

i was also going to suggest buy new jeans and go with belly bands, having said that I did just buy a pair of egg jeans off TM, cant wear them yet but in a few months....

might have to check out the max mummy range.

DH said you should get some preggy jeans... and he is also ever so sensible with money. As long as you can wear them before and after being preggy.

oh and re your prog levels. that looks great to me! anything over 25 is considered ovulation... sheesh, Fertility clinics are happy with 10 natural and 15 with ov assisting drugs (obviously they would like to see higher). If you ovulated on CD18 then your prog still has not peaked yet so that was a great number considering its probably still rising. Man I am so mad at your nurse!!!!!!!

My 7 DPO prog the cycle after my mc was 26 and my dr was stoked with that!
