I'm 37 1/2 weeks along and was wondering what sort of foods i should be cooking and putting in the freezer for after the baby is born. Any suggestions?

Anything you can eat one-handed Casseroles, spag bol sauce, that sort of thing. We've gotten lots of those Uncle Ben's precooked rice packets to go with lots of the frozen meals.

I've also found lunch can be the most difficult meal once you're home by yourself with bubs so a good idea would be a couple of batches of muffins or similar that you can freeze individually then take them out one at a time.

Yes, lunch can be hard. Maybe something like mini quiche, pies etc which are easy to eat one handed.
For tea - shepards pie, lasagna. I found the crockpot really great as I could put it on in the morning when Jack was asleep and not have to worry about preping dinner later

Lots of those packet / jar sauces where you just add the meat are good to have, explicit instruction ffor your DH to follow if he is anything like mine! Then he just has to put some vegies together and mash some spuds for a really nutricious meal.

We have a huge range of ready meals here in the UK and I have one of those for my lunch each day, not sure if they have them in NZ but you if you have a smallish amount of left overs then definately freeze that too and note on the container that its a meal for one not a dinner for two etc.

Also cereal bars/musli bars are good to have by your feeding spot so you can easily reach them for a snack once you plonk yourself down to feed baby.
