Grrrrrr. So today I got a lovely chip / crack in my windscreen on the passenger side. I will probally give someone like novas a call for a quote... but if anyone has had something similar happen, how much can you expect to pay? The crack is a bit smaller than a $1 coin.

I'll call them tomorrow.

Should be covered by your insurance if you have glass buy out, (no excess)

It's fairly common to have, we are with AMI & my parents have the same thing with Tower so you should be right.  With the smaller cracks and chips Mum usually gets them to come out and patch them till the screen needs replacing.  But if it is near the edge and there is a chance of it spreading to the edge you will prob need it replaced.  If a crack extends to the edge of window screen you won't get a WOF.
