What is happening?

I have had my current AF for 12 days!! It is heavy, clotty and has shown no signs of stopping anytime soon.

I have been back on the pill for one month, am on Monofeme, this is what I was on prior to getting pregnant.

This is only my 3rd AF since Lauren was born, the other 2 were heavy and lasted about 7-8 days which I am not used to! I am used to 2 days of light spotting and 1 day heavy and then its finished!

Right now I am over AF and am definately OVER using tampons!! How can I get it to stop, I just want a break    I was actually due for AF Monday just gone, shall I just start on the new strip of pills and hope it will go away for atleast a few weeks??

Its driving me insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That situation would suck to have your AF in Kriss!!

Peachy, if I was you I'd be going to the Dr, they can prescribe you Provera (progesterone pills) to stop the bleeding, it can stop/slow down as soon as a few hours after the first pill was taken...

Good luck!

Thanks for your replies!

I am not planning on ttc for a while so I will do anything to stop the bleeding even if it screws up AF for a bit. Might pop to the doc tomorrow, don't really wanna pay $55 to see him though

You could try and be sly and talk to the nurse at your Dr's?

Say you really can't afford it or something (lay it on thick) and she may want you to come in or she may just talk to the Dr for you and the Dr could just do up a script for you to pick up...

Might save you some $$$

The nurse at my GPs is really good like that.
